Mr. BRENT RENARD is composer, opera director and tenor. He has more than 15 years of experience in opera singing and performance, also staging and directing his own compositions. In RL, he is university professor and researcher of cultural policies and legislation; he is master in management of cultural institutions.
He is founder and director of ÓPERA JOVEN [Young Opera] in RL, a nonprofit organization which supports young artists and intercultural exchange. This organization has come to SL recently in order to take advantage of the growing global communications and resources.
Mr. RENARD is one of the very few opera singers who actually and regularly perform in SL, singing totally LIVE a mainly baroque, classicist, and belcanto repertory.
He specializes in discovering and singing forgotten and non common works and composers and, as a RL teacher, his concerts always have a didactic and educational orientation.
